KODIAK NETWORKS AND WESTMINSTER FINANCE & MARKETING PARTNER TO DELIVER PUSH-TO-TALK (PTT) AND ADVANCED VOICE SERVICES SOLUTIONS THROUGHOUT WEST AFRICA
Companies Plan Aggressive Roll-out of Kodiak Real-time Exchange Systems to African Network Operators
SAN RAMON, CA and ACCRA, GHANA – June 29, 2005 – Kodiak Networks and Westminster Finance & Marketing (WFM) Ltd., today announced a reseller agreement for the deployment of the Kodiak Real-time Exchange™ (RTX) System throughout West Africa. This partnership promotes the delivery of Push-to-Talk (PTT) and Advanced Voice Services (AVS) applications to African network operators seeking to increase wireless usage, revenue and market share.
Under the terms of this agreement, Kodiak and WFM will collaborate on systems integration, joint marketing, training and ongoing support of Kodiak’s full product portfolio including the Kodiak RTX System and AVS applications. WFM will also support Kodiak SIMpower™, an innovative thin client which enables AVS functionality on existing GSM handsets. These voice applications include instant calling (PTT), instant group conferencing, real-time availability/presence updates and instant voice messaging.
