Companies Collaborate on Marketing Push to Talk (PTT) Enabled Handsets with Advanced Voice Services Functionality

SAN RAMON, CA (USA) and SEOUL (KOREA) – July 25, 2006 – Kodiak Networks, the leading provider of advanced wireless voice systems and Pantech Co., Ltd., an affiliate of Pantech Group, the number two mobile phone company in South Korea, today announced their global partnership to market a broad range of Push to Talk (PTT) enabled handsets with advanced voice services (AVS) functionality.

The global handset license and strategic marketing agreement will allow the two companies to jointly develop innovative handsets that enable premium voice services applications including real-time availability, full-duplex group conferencing, instant voice messaging and group SMS. This partnership hallmarks Pantech’s entry into the PTT device market.
