BARCELONA, SPAIN (3GSM World Congress) – February 13, 2006 – Kodiak Networks (www.kodiaknetworks.com), the leader in advanced wireless systems, and smart card expert Sagem Orga, today announced the availability of Kodiak SIMpower™ on Sagem Orga Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) cards. • Kodiak Instant Availability – Real-time Availability displays “available,” silent mode,” “do not disturb” and “offline” states.
  • Contact Management – Handset-Based Contact List Management can be used by customers to manage their contact lists directly from handset or through a web interface.
  • Call Me Alerts – Allows subscribers to send onscreen call alerts to contacts who are away from their phone or have it turned off.

“Kodiak SIMpower on Sagem Orga SIMs will allow operators to bring revenue generating voice services to the marketplace faster and more efficiently by leveraging existing handset devices that are already available,” said Hans Thijssen, Global Partner Program Manager, Sagem Orga. “We look forward to working with Kodiak to deploy innovative voices applications on SIM cards that increase carrier ROI and improve end user retention.”

“Sagem Orga is addressing the growing base of operators who are demanding new, innovative services delivered on the SIM,” said Timothy Hall, vice president of strategic alliances, Kodiak Networks. “Kodiak SIMpower delivered on Sagem Orga SIMs allows carriers to offer advanced voice services applications to their customers without them having to replace existing handsets.
